My Thoughts Looking Back 18 Years

A Letter From Nancy

As I sit at my computer today attempting to share my thoughts with you as we launch our new website, my mind jumps back to 2005. That is when the Lord opened the door and invited me to travel to Zambia, Africa as a short term medical provider with Global Health Outreach. This trip as a member of Christian Medical and Dental Society was life changing and His handprint on my heart is everlasting. Zambia continues to struggle with over 50% living in abject poverty with skyrocketing inflation but the babies you have saved through your financial support are now healthy, some happy elementary and even secondary school students learning to be self-sustaining. But unfortunately, the number of abandoned babies continues to rise and thus our call to minister to the vulnerable is ongoing.

The number of new boreholes in communities and schools providing clean, disease free water is 30+ with many more broken wells repaired and now providing clean water to communities in need.

Due to the Covid pandemic, we have not been able to send teams to Zambia to assist with expanding the school computer lab projects we started in 2017, or well drilling. However, God is at work and has trained the Zambians to carry on this ministry work and that is Our Greatest Joy. Now it is our job to continue to raise awareness of the needs and encourage support.

“To those to whom much is given, much is required”. We welcome your comments, questions about our work in Zambia and/or if you would be interested in hosting a speaker in your church or community group please contact us through this website.

God Bless,

Nancy
